SYNOPSIS:

Dream-like and visually striking ‘LIMINAL GIRL’ is set against the lush and beautiful landscape of Northern Canada.

It’s the start of the pandemic. Faced with limited travel options, a young woman, Sloane, embarks on a three-day journey on foot to visit her ailing brother.

Complicating her journey, Sloane is also grappling with a condition that induces strange and ethereal feelings of dissociation and disconnection. As Sloane’s journey unfolds, her solitary trek transforms into a voyage of self-discovery and reconnection.

The movie features songs by the legendary Vancouver all-female punk rock group, THE DISHRAGS, and a haunting score by Canadian composer Olivia Korosak.
